A University Parish
Welcome to St. Thomas Aquinas University Parish, serving the students, faculty, and staff of the University of Virginia. For over fifty years, the Friars of the Order of Preachers of the Province of St. Joseph have served here on the edge of the beautiful Grounds of Mr. Jefferson's University. Under the pastoral care of the Dominican friars, our vibrant and active parish enthusiastically embraces the mission of spreading the joy of the Gospel to the university and beyond.

The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic fraternal organization that was founded in 1882 to assist Catholic families, support parishes, and perform service work in our communities. St. Thomas Aquinas has an active council catering to college students as well as all Catholic men in our parish. Our council meets on the first Tuesday of the month.
