Youth Ministry
Registration for 2024-2025 Year
Registration is now open for all religious education and youth ministry programs! Please follow the instructions below to register your kids and teens for RE (K-5), Edge (6-8), Life Teen (9-12), and Confirmation (10th grade and above).
- Login to Parishsoft (or create an account if needed) using the link below
- Choose “My Education” on the left side of the screen
- Review Current Family Details (and update as necessary)
- Select Enrollment Term (2024-2025)
- Add Students to the appropriate class
- Submit Registration!
- After your submission is reviewed, you should receive a confirmation email that your student has been added to the proper class
Once you register, all that is left is to pay the appropriate fee using the link below. Scholarships are available upon request.
- RE – $50
- First Communion – $50 add on to the regular RE fee
- Edge – $100
- Life Teen – $100
- Confirmation – $175 (Includes registration to Life Teen!)

Our Programs
What is Edge? (6th-12th)
Edge provides a safe fun place for middle school youth to find solid Catholic community, to get answers to their questions about faith, and, most importantly, to experience Jesus in a profound and personal way. Edge runs Mondays from 7-8:30pm.
Life Teen (9th-12th)
As a Eucharist-centered movement within the Roman Catholic Church, Life Teen leads teenagers and their families into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church. With the Blessed Virgin Mary as our intercessor and guide, Life Teen seeks to unleash the fullness of the Sacramental power present within the young Church. Life Teen meets on Sunday nights from 6:15 – 8 pm.
Starting in 2023, Life Teen Oratory will meet on Wednesday nights from 7 – 8:30 pm. LT Oratory will provide our high school teens with an opportunity to gather together and build genuine friendships that are centered around faith. We host everything from game nights, to basketball nights, to sacrament nights, to seasonal activities like a gingerbread house competition! There is no need to sign up for LT Oratory (there is no cost) and please feel free to invite your friends to join! The first 15 minutes of every meeting will take place in the church upstairs for adoration. This will orient our attention toward God above all else before we move to the youth room downstairs.
Confirmation (10th-12th)
This sacramental preparation class strives to provide additional formation for our teens who are preparing for confirmation in the spring. This class follows a curriculum that walks our teens through salvation history with an added emphasis on confirmation and how to live their lives after receiving the sacrament. The confirmation class meets on the third Wednesday of every month from 7 pm to 8:30. All of our confirmation students should also attend our Life Nights on Sunday.
DYC Registration is Open!
Join STA Youth this winter as we venture to Richmond, VA for a weekend-long (February 7th-9th), Diocesan-wide conference for teenagers! The Diocesan Youth Conference (DYC) is an annual weekend event that gathers high school youth from Diocese of Richmond parishes in one central location. DYC is a highly energetic and engaging opportunity for our high school teenagers to gather as a larger Church community and celebrate the richness of our Catholic faith.
Want to volunteer?
Life Teen and Edge are both served by our dedicated “Core teams” of parishioners and Catholic Hoos volunteers. These teams focus on accompanying the youth of our parish through the challenges of growing up and striving to build a stronger faith foundation in high school and middle school. We primarily accomplish this by facilitating small group conversations based on whatever that week’s topic is.
