The "Blessing of the Animals", in honor of the Feast of St. Francis Assisi (October 4th) will take place this afternoon in the courtyard. Animals must be in carriers or on leashes.

We will celebrate a "Red" Mass at 5:15pm, praying for the members of the legal profession.

UVA Fall Break will be October 1st through 4th. There will be no Sunday 9PM Mass or Sunday evening Confessions on October 2nd. There will be no UVA Chapel Mass on Monday or Tuesday (October 3rd and 4th).

St. Thomas Aquinas has an active council catering to college students as well as all Catholic men in our parish. Our council meets on the first Tuesday of the month. Click the header to learn more!

Due to our proximity to Scott Stadium, our schedule changes when there is a UVA Home Football game. The game day schedule is as follows: Saturday 9:30am Mass takes place as usual. Saturday morning Confessions are cancelled. Saturday 5:15pm Vigil Mass is cancelled. The Parish Building Complex will be locked after the Saturday morning Mass.  All Mass attendees must leave immediately after morning Mass before UVA begins towing those without game parking pass.
